A Brand vs Branding
If you've cyber-stalked me on my website or social media, or if you've been snooping around my general vicinity (whether it's physical or digital), you've probably noticed that I never shut up about the crucial role of branding when it comes to launching, sustaining, and expanding a successful business. But here's the ten thousand dollar question for you: Is branding the same thing as a brand? NOPE.
In simple terms, your brand is how you’re perceived by others. Branding is the set of actions that you take to build that perception.
Surprise! You can’t create your brand. However, you can cultivate a foundation for your business by developing and maintaining *branding* that speaks to your values and customers and inspiring the emotions you want people to associate with your brand.
Branding is your promise to your customer- the promise of a consistent experience that aligns with the values you promote as a company. So when they align with your brand, they know what they are aligned with.
You create your branding.
Your branding influences your customers.
Your customers create your brand.
Ready to create some branding to help cultivate an epic brand (Now that you understand what that means)? Let’s do it!
